Welcome to
Moon Carrot Farms!
Hi there! I'm Shirley Graser, the proud owner of Moon Carrot Farms—a tiny urban flower farm nestled in the Rosewood area of Eureka, CA.

Roots and Growth
My journey with plants began in 2014 when I started working at a nursery in Southwestern Colorado. Five seasons later, fueled by a newfound passion, I returned to California, chasing a degree in Agriculture and a dream to cultivate a farm with a focus on soil health and sustainability
.
A Blossoming Passion
Fast forward to 2018 in Humboldt, where love blossomed both personally—with meeting my partner, Gabe—and professionally. Amid balancing full-time work and school, I found myself with an accidental flower garden when I failed to plant all my veggie starts. I discovered the profound impact flowers have on the soul, fostering connections and sparking cherished memories.

Blooms of Connection
From spontaneous childhood stories triggered by the scent of a sweet pea to heartfelt moments shared in times of loss, Moon Carrot Farms is built on the belief that flowers are conduits for meaningful connections and deep emotions. Witnessing the joy and healing they bring is an honor I cherish and a privilege I am continually humbled by.
Stewardship and Soil Health
Moon Carrot Farms is dedicated to not only cultivating high quality cut flowers, but also to cultivating awareness and appreciation for our environment. We commit to working in symbiosis and harmony with nature’s systems and to make sustainability a priority without sacrificing quality or our duty as stewards of the unceded Wiyot land our farm is located on.
